A More Beautiful You Is 5 Steps Away!
Being powerful, healthy, fit and trim is a goal we all should have and work toward. Despite the so called "easy cures" such as: weightloss drugs and dangerous fad diets that never give lasting health or weightloss, there are still plenty of natural, safe habits we can easily make a part of our daily routine to start us on this path. Here are 5 good ideas to get you started.
1. 'Just say no' to alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages are not good for you. Beer is fattening and the rest of the alcoholic drinks may not be fattening by themselves but after a couple of swigs you will be in no position to watch your diet and your appetite will also be something to battle with.
2. You should eat the so called cheat foods, but just for flavor. There are many things which you should void from your daily food intake but which you may have an undying craving for. Do not avoid them altogether or you are bound to binge. Indulge in them once in a while. Just don't hog on them-instead, share them with others.
3. Try to adopt a vegetarian way of eating for at least some of your meals . A vegetarian diet is undoubtedly better for evereyone. There are many advantages to a vegetarian diet. What I would suggest is to follow a vegetarian diet as much as possible. Make a vegetarian eating plan twice or three times a week if you find it impossible to give up eating meat all together.
4. Choose low fat substitutes or no fat substitutes. There are plenty of low fat or even no fat substitutes available in the market so why not choose wisely. It is much better for you heart too. Many people just go for shopping and pick up whatever they can. They do not bother to find out if there are any substitutes for the thing they are looking for. (my-healthy- weightloss-blog does not believe in low fat substitutes because of what is added to make them that way, as in added sugars and chemicals etc.)
5. Most importantly, avoid crash diets. They are bad for your health and you will gain what you have lost once you go back to your regular eating patterns. Crash diets are not a solution to weight loss. It might seem as if you have lost few pounds but the moment you give up on the crash diet every thing will bounce back with a vengeance.
Crash diets and diet drugs make many promises, but very rarely if ever do these promises come true. Crash diets are things people go on in order to wear an old dress or suit for a particular occasion. That's the only purpose that they serve as far as I can see.
